It will not terminate, you have to close MM for it to stop. MM will still play music, it does not matter what priority it is set to it hangs. Then it hangs, usually around 280 - 330 files absolutely no reason for this. It then begins to copy, this is fairly brisk, when not auto converting (most of my files are already aac/m4a) It then wants to remove all tracks that do not match MM library, this can take a couple of hours. On initial connection it prepares the list of files, this can take up to 20 minutes. Now using MM I have all those processes in one place, it does not do all the above automatically and so far is not perfect. It hung, it crashed, it froze it didn't want to play ball, sometimes after a big sync it would take days, I needed something that worked. The biggest drawback was when refreshing the music library on the phone. This works very well a little labour intensive but worth it. I used playlists as the N95 would read and organise the tags in an awful way it would rarely show a whole album! Playlist creator to create m3u playlists. Originally I used a lot of software to achieve my goal.įoobar2000 to encode to aac with m4a extension, as mp4 was also seen as video and another piece of software was always syncing all my music on the phone to a video folder, lots of wasted time. I started using MM because I want a 1 stop solution for syncing music to the N95 and Nokia's Music Manager was not up tot he task. I am still in my early days of using MM and I find it very slow.
It is recognised when connected in Media Player mode.
